    A volume from the library of Niels Bohr with his stamped facsimile signature and an inscription from the author to Bohr both on the front free endpaper: “N. Bohr” and “A N. Bohr, hommage de profunde admiration, M. Landau, 20.IX.36.”.  Mark Landau, who also wrote under the pseudonym Mark Aldanov, was a Russian writer and critic known for his historical novels. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature thirteen times.
